6.6% increase in home prices
The state saw sales level off as the end of year neared. In November, closed sales slipped 1.6 percent from a year ago, but pending sales were up 13.6 percent. Sellers still had a strong position, with two-thirds receiving multiple offers and three in five selling their homes at or above the asking price.
Rankings were compiled using CoreLogic’s monthly home price indexes from January through October, the most recent data available.
