Health Care Quality
The debate over national health care aside, more Americans today say they get "excellent health care" than did in the early 2000s, according to
polling by Gallup. Nine percent more reported getting excellent care in 2009−2011 than in 2001−2003 (40 versus 31 percent). That included 9 percent more of those whose care was paid for by private plans, 14 percent more of those covered by government plans like Medicare and Medicaid, and even 3 percent more of those with no insurance coverage at all.
