International Fanny Pack Day
Believe it or not, the second Saturday of March is a day of tribute to the fanny pack, that ubiquitous strap-on sack that "for years has been used to carry around items for easy access," according to event planners. At the Oscars, though, you didn't see that kind of fanny pack anywhere.
