US Household Net Worth Grew to $107 Trillion in Q2

Boosted by higher property values and stock prices, the total net worth of U.S. households grew by almost $2.2 trillion in the second quarter of this year, reaching nearly $107 trillion, the Federal Reserve said Thursday. The rising stock market accounted for about $850 billion in increased value, while real estate holdings added more than $550 billion.

In the first quarter of the year, household net worth grew by $1.3 trillion, according to revised data.
