Today Senator Elizabeth Warren had the opportunity to ask Wells Fargo CEO John G. Stumpf about the the recent consumer fraud scandal at the big bank. She wasted little time in asking him if he had returned "one nickel" of his compensation, or thought there was any reason to fire any senior executives.
Stumpf hemmed and hawed his way through her broadside, as she hammered away at his "gutless leadership" and relentlessly used Wells Fargo's own language to demolish his responses.
