Perhaps because no one else in the family wants to cook, Mother’s Day has become the most popular day of the year for Americans to eat out. Nearly 40 percent of Americans plan to go out to celebrate the holiday on Sunday, according to a report from the National Restaurant Association.
Of those, more than 60 percent will choose a fast casual restaurant. In an effort to attract families, many restaurants are offering promotions that allow moms to get all or part of their meal for free.

Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar: Moms eat free at participating restaurants on Sunday, with the purchase of another entrée.
Beef O’ Brady’s: Moms eat free with the purchase of another meal of equal or greater value.

Orange Leaf Yogurt: Moms get a free frozen yogurt on Sunday.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Moms who dine at Ruth’s Chris on Sunday will leave with a $25 gift card for a future dinner.
Spaghetti Warehouse: Moms go home with a spaghetti and meatballs entrée, after a meal at Spaghetti Warehouse on Sunday.
TCBY: Moms get a free yogurt on Sunday.
Texas Steakhouse & Saloon: Moms who eat here on Sunday get a certificate for a free entrée in the future.
Wienerschnitzel: Moms get a free original chili dog, small fries and a small soda on Sunday.
