In 2006, Hubert and Norma Humphrey completed their $50 million 47,000 square foot dream home on 72 acres, and aptly named it Le Reve. Imagine an 82-room manse with cathedral ceilings, a four-acre lake, a golf course, two pools, two elevators and horse stables, 14.5 baths, seven bedrooms and four garages. Hubert, who founded a mortgage brokerage company called World Leadership Group, lost the home to foreclosure. By 2010 the price was reduced to $28 million, and recently further slashed to $16.75 million.
