2017 Buick Envision
The first car made in China to be sold in the U.S., Buick's compact crossover fits nicely between the Enclave and Encore, and its design is appealing. The vehicle incorporates technologies that help to make it lightweight and more fuel efficient, including upper grille shutters that open and close to enhance aerodynamics on the highway. The body structure uses a lightweight aluminum hood. It also has an interior that’s roomier for passengers than its competitors. If the Envision doesn't receive too much criticism from the United Auto Workers for being constructed overseas, other carmakers could follow Buick’s lead and begin building in China.
