Sukhoi Su-30
Of the more than two dozen combat jets now stationed at Latakia, four of them are Sukhoi Su-30s, one of the Russian Air Force’s most advanced aircraft. The plane is similar to the American F-18 and can be used for precision bombing and close air support.
