Burger King’s BK Whopper Bar in Times Square, which served artisanal burgers, was shut down twice in a month nearly two years ago. Inspectors found flies in the kitchen, unrefrigerated food and inappropriate hand washing facilities lacking soap. The high-concept gourmet spinoff remains closed.
