Whether you buy or lease, you still have to prove you can afford the cost of your vehicle, even if it's "pre-owned." That means credit checks, social security documents, and in some cases, a peek at your investments--especially if you're a scruffy looking fellow who doesn't look like he belongs behind the wheel of a Bentley.
