Anham, a Saudi Arabia-based contracting company, purchased the Giant Voice systems, an intercom system to install at Abu Graib and Umm Qasr warehouses, for nearly 104 percent above retail cost. The intercom system cost $90,908, not including shipping. Compared it the manufacturer’s retail price of $44,615. They also included installation costs ranging from $20,000 to $31,550, though according the manufacturer, the system is “plug and play” and requires little effort to install. (this was later confirmed by SIGIR).
