Rattlesnake Roundup
If it's the second weekend in March, it's the World's Largest Rattlesnake Round-Up, one of several in Texas every year. Originally begun by ranchers in 1958 to thin out the snakes plaguing them and their livestocks, the round-up also features snake-handling demonstrations of all kinds.(Folks, don't try this trick at home.)
