The “No Retirement” Office
Many boomers feel true retirement is in the very distant future, or not at all. The authors found that boomers were incorporating home offices into their living spaces where they could continue to work into their old age. Though this house in Madison, Wisconsin has an office on the third level, it’s connected by a shaft for a future elevator.
