Dressing for the Occassion
43.9 percent of Americans plan to dress up this year, according to the National Retail Federation. On average they will spend $63 on their costume resulting in $1 billion in children’s costumes, up from $840 million last year, and $1.21 billion on adult costumes, up from $990 million last year. There are no numbers on the percentage of these that will be Jersey Shore themed.
