Designer Diapers
Forget classic white. Today, the most stylish babies are wearing camouflage, jean and floral print. In 2011, the $5 billion dollar diaper industry increased sales and market shares by introducing a variety of new prints. When Huggies re-launched their jean diapers last spring, they sold 60 million pairs. And Pampers has teamed up with Cynthia Rowley for a floral diaper line sold at Target. Such designer brands can cost up to 20 percent more than traditional white receptacles with less diapers in each pack.
